SEE THE DETAIL

The site and the data,
in the same conversation.

Use facilities to organise the context. Use emissions and reports to explore the picture.

Make the records match the venue.

A shared site needs a clear boundary before its numbers can tell a useful story.

Define what is included

A venue may have an owner, an operator, tenants and event organisers. Agree whose activities the review covers and which spaces are included. Keep shared services and excluded activities visible rather than assuming one bill describes the whole site.

Map the meters

List the meters and the spaces they serve. Keep supplier bills and submeter readings distinguishable. Do not add a submeter reading to consumption already counted in the main meter total. Document how any shared bill was divided.

Compare equivalent activity

A busy event month and a quiet month are different operating conditions. Keep attendance, opening hours and maintenance changes alongside your records. A lower total alone does not prove that equipment became more efficient.

These are preparation checks for your team. Confirm the reporting boundary before combining data from different organisations.
