Start with a season you can compare.

Give the people collecting your records a shared starting point.

Choose the period

A football season and a calendar year cover different dates. Agree which period you will review, then gather records for the same dates across your stadium, academy and training ground.

Give each record an owner

Ask the people responsible for facilities, finance and operations who holds each bill or meter reading. Keep the site name, dates, quantity, unit and original document together so a colleague can check the record later.

Keep gaps visible

A missing bill is not zero consumption. Note what is missing and whether a figure is measured, estimated or shared with another user. Review trends alongside changes in attendance, operating hours and the completeness of your records.

Energy and fuel records are a useful starting point, but they are not automatically your club’s complete footprint. Keep the scope of each review clear.

Bring your club’s data together.

Your stadium, training ground and equipment in one overview for the whole club.
