GETTING STARTED GUIDE
Before you open
the dashboard.
A practical checklist for your first conversation with carbon data.
01 / Give your organisation a clear starting point
Decide which organisation you are setting up and who will keep its information up to date. Have your organisation details ready before creating your account.
02 / List the places you operate
Start with the facilities you want to understand: a stadium, a training ground or another site. Give each location a recognisable name and note the equipment associated with it.
03 / Gather records for the same period
Bring together the records your team already uses. Note the dates, units and facility for each record. Keep missing information visible so that your team knows what still needs checking.
04 / Review before deciding
Use the overview to orient yourself, then look at individual facilities and emission sources. Read recommendations alongside your operational context. Treat the AI Assistant as a place to work through questions, and check the underlying information before acting.
A useful record is more than a number.
Use this checklist before entering data. The completed example is fictional and shows what to collect, not an import format for NoSix.
| Field | What to keep | Example record |
|---|---|---|
| Site | A name your team recognises | Example training ground |
| Activity | The type of record | Purchased electricity |
| Period | Both start and end dates | 1–31 January 2026 |
| Quantity and unit | Keep the original unit; money is not kWh | 1,000 kWh |
| Evidence | Invoice, receipt or meter reference | Example invoice INV-001 |
| Quality and owner | Measured, estimated or missing; who can check it | Measured · facilities manager |
Before your first review, check for overlapping dates, duplicate bills and missing records. Keep the original documents and agree who will follow up on each gap.
